Three individuals were arrested during a protest by pro-Palestine activists at Teledyne CML Composites in Bromborough, Wirral, marking the second time in three months the factory has been targeted.

The Palestine Action campaign group claimed responsibility for the demonstration, alleging that the factory supplies parts for Israeli warplanes.

Merseyside Police were called to the site on Tebay Road at 6:05 AM BST after receiving reports of protesters climbing onto the roof and causing damage. Two of the activists accessed the factory from the roof and were detained inside, while the third was arrested after being rescued from the roof by Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service.

Palestine Action had previously staged a similar protest in July, where a van was driven through the factory gates and red paint was scattered. Ch Insp Chris Barnes stated that while the police respect the right to protest, any actions involving damage to private property will be dealt with firmly.
