Bold Street Coffee Plans Expansion with Four New Locations

Bold Street Coffee plans to open four new sites next year, bringing its total to 10. Founded by Matt Farrell and John Ennis through GSG Hospitality, the Liverpool-based chain launched its first café on Bold Street in 2010 and has since expanded to six UK locations, including sites in Manchester and Derbyshire.

New openings in 2026 will include a kiosk and kitchen at Duke Street Market in Liverpool, a café at The Climbing Hangar in Speke, a roastery and bakery in Wavertree, and a potential site in Chester.

Farrell said the expansion reflects the brand’s focus on “great coffee, great people and great neighbourhoods,” noting growth in both physical stores and its online subscription service, which delivers curated coffees directly to customers’ doors.
