Cavern City Tours Reports Record Profits Driven by Beatles Tourism
Cavern City Tours, the company behind Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club and Magical Mystery Tours, has posted “remarkable” profits, fuelled by continued global demand from Beatles fans.
The firm reported revenues of £11.6m for the year to September 2024, up from £10.5m the previous year, with pre-tax profits rising to nearly £3m. Shareholders will receive a £1.5m dividend.
Now valued at over £40m and ranked among the fastest-growing companies in the North West, Cavern City Tours credits its success to strong performance across all five of its venues and tours. A new São Paulo location is also set to open soon.
Despite an ageing core audience, Beatleweek continues to attract fans from over 50 countries, and the business sees growth potential ahead—especially with the upcoming Hilton hotel opening near Mathew Street.
