Sefton Collection Broadens Footprint with £750k ‘Baby Clubhouse’ Launch in Liverpool

Liverpool‑based Sefton Collection has unveiled its third hospitality venue in Wolstenholme Square, lifting the group’s combined outlay in the city to £750,000.

Following the debut of Dicey Reillys Irish sports bar and the purpose‑built ‘Clubhouse’ events hub, the operator has now introduced Baby Clubhouse. The new site will add 10 jobs to the local economy.

Branded under Ropewalks Hotel, Baby Clubhouse offers 1,600 sq ft of flexible, private‑hire space, accommodating 10–100 seated guests or up to 120 standing. Features include a four‑metre black‑quartz bar, a fully equipped kitchen, marble‑finished washrooms with brass fixtures, programmable feature lighting, and a built‑in sound and disco‑lighting system.

Sefton Collection describes both Clubhouse and Baby Clubhouse as multifunctional venues tailored to everything from weddings, christenings and baby showers to corporate conferences, product launches and gala dinners. Baby Clubhouse is also licensed to host wedding ceremonies.

The original Clubhouse, opened in July 2024, holds 150 guests on round tables at ground level, 60 on the mezzanine, 240 standing, 120 in theatre layout, 54 classroom‑style and 36 boardroom‑style. Both venues are equipped with large movable screens and comprehensive AV solutions; Baby Clubhouse can operate independently or serve as an overflow for larger events.

Chief executive Conor O’Donovan said: “With Clubhouse and Baby Clubhouse, we deliver stylish, versatile spaces run by Ropewalks Hotel’s experienced team. Whether for intimate gatherings or large‑scale functions, our guests can expect choice, flexibility and genuine wow‑factor. Baby Clubhouse is the perfect complement to our hugely popular Clubhouse.”
