Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder Following Woman's Death

A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body at a property in Walton Village, Liverpool.

Emergency services found the woman, believed to be in her 30s, at an address on St Mary’s Grove. Merseyside Police are currently treating her death as unexplained.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy McCourt stated that investigations are in the early stages as officers work to establish the circumstances. The victim's family is being supported by specialist officers.

Police have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
