Police Provide Update Following Discovery of Bag Containing Bones in Garden

Merseyside Police have confirmed that the bones discovered under an outhouse in Kirkby are not human. On Friday, October 18, officers responded to reports of unidentified bones found in a garden.
The bones were located in a bag while someone was digging in a back garden on Stourton Road, Kirkby. W News! has learned that a construction company made the discovery, and the bones are believed to have been buried beneath an outhouse.
Following the incident, neighbors expressed their shock at finding a police scene in their area and described feeling "creeped out" upon learning the reason for the police presence.
However, a spokesperson for the police confirmed today (Tuesday) that the bones are not of human origin.
