Thieves Steal Christmas Presents From Under Tree

A family's Christmas presents were stolen from under their tree during a burglary in Haydock early Saturday morning.

Merseyside Police confirmed that the break-in occurred just before 03:00 GMT on Fairclough Crescent. Along with the gifts, the thieves also made off with a handbag and house keys.

The break-in was part of a spree in the area, with nine other attempted burglaries reported between 03:00 and 03:30.

Authorities have arrested a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man in connection with the crimes.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
