Liverpool Man Jailed for 11 Years for Rape

A 37-year-old man has been jailed for 11 years after raping and sexually assaulting a woman over two hours, causing “physical and psychological torture,” a Liverpool Crown Court jury heard.

Fahad Al Eniezi, of Walton, also verbally abused the victim during the attack, calling her degrading names. In a victim statement, she said: “He destroyed me physically, emotionally and psychologically. He destroyed me and killed my confidence in myself.”

Al Eniezi, who has no previous convictions, appeared via video link in a grey prison tracksuit, crying as he was sentenced. He will serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before becoming eligible for release and faces deportation.

He was also given an indefinite restraining order and must sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
